IN RE: Airport Authority of the City of Corry.
Notice is hereby given that Petition for Dissolution of Airport Authority of the City of Corry and Transfer of Assets to new Airport Authority has been filed in the Erie County Court of Common Pleas to allow for the transfer of assets and liabilities from the expired 1955 Airport Authority to a newly created 2022 Airport Authority. The Petition also seeks an order permitting the City of Corry to Transfer certain property that is used for airport purposes to the 2022 Airport Authority. The Court will hear evidence concerning the Petition on February 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in Courtroom C, Erie County Courthouse, 140 West Sixth Street, Erie.
The hearing on February 27, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. will address the issue of the City of Corry's request to transfer property that is presently used as part of the Corry Lawrence Airport's operations to the 2022 Airport Authority, with all existing deed restrictions in place and with a requirement that, if the 2022 Airport Authority ceases to use the property for airport purposes, the property would revert back to the City of Corry.
All interested parties may appear and show cause, if any, why the Petitions should not be granted.
